Disciple Fast Track Bible Study: Remember who you are
Do you find yourself asking one or all of the following questions?
“I want to be a faithful follower, but how am I to do this with all the change that is happening in our world?”
“There are so many people talking about how to be a better Christian follower, how do I know which one to listen to?”
“I run into questions of faith almost every day. I know I am not the only person to have experienced this doubt. How did people in the past handle these issues and does their situations and solutions apply to me today?”
Hear the calls of the prophets and Paul to return to God and a community "set apart." There are sessions on the Old Testament Major and Minor Prophets, and on the 13 New Testament letters traditionally attributed to Paul. The prophets and Paul are continually calling hearers and readers back to their God and to a sense of who they are as a people "set apart." Daily preparation for this study is manageable, with 3–5 chapters of the Bible to read each day. You do not have to have completed a previous Disciple study to participate. The group will meet for two 12-week blocks, beginning Wednesday, September 5 at 6:30. Fill out the form below, or chat with Pastor Stacey or facilitator Jeff Matthews to sign up.
PLEASE, join us for an information sharing session on Wednesday, August 29 at 6:00pm in the Seekers Classroom to help you decide if this is a group that you want to join.
The first regular group meeting will be on Sept. 5, 2018 at 6:15PM in the Seekers classroom.
