College Scholarship Applications are now available in the church office. These scholarships are available to all church members who are enrolled (or will be this fall) in an accredited undergraduate college program. First time applicants (this applies to all first time applicants, freshman-senior year) are given priority; however, all undergraduates are eligible for consideration. Scholarships are awarded based on current income available. Completed applications, as well as two letters of reference, must be received by the Scholarship Ministry Team no later than Sunday, May 18, 2008. Applications received after this date will not be considered. Please return your completed application and letters of reference to the church in a sealed envelope entitled Scholarship Ministry Team.

Adopt a School News

With your help, we are about to embark on a new project for our adopted school. Our goal is to collect enough books (500) to send one book home with each student at the end of the school year. We are asking our Sunday School classes to donate a book that is equivalent to the students' grade level. Example - second graders will need a book that is appropriate for a second grade student. We need books appropriate for kindergarten through fifth grade. Please note the grade level on a sticky note on the inside cover. New, as well as gently used, books are welcome. We will have collection boxes throughout the church. Our deadline will be May 30th. If you have any questions, please speak to Samantha Wesley or Jan Dyrholm. Thank you again for all your prayers, donations, gifts and support for our project.
