Three Simple Rules

Picture
The General Rules have been a United Methodist "rule of life" from the beginnings of Methodism. Those who joined Methodists showed they desired salvation by living into these guidelines for life:
Do No Harm
Do Good
Attend to the Ordinances of God [Stay in love with God]

These three guidelines are a protected part of our church doctrine in the Book of Discipline. When being ordained (among other questions), clergy are asked: Do you know the general rules of our church? Will you keep them?

Do YOU know the general rules of our church? Will YOU keep them?

Pick up your free copy of Three Simple Rules on Sundays October 14 or October 21, and plan to join us for three sessions of reflecting on them.

Choose between sessions on Thursday evenings at 6:30 in the Seekers Room (B105) [October 25, November 1, November 8], and Fridays at noon at Palermo's [127 S Main St, walking distance from church | October 26, November 2, November 9].
